School of Architecture

The University of Miami School of Architecture building is a collaborative effort between renowned architect Leon Krier, Merrill, Pastor & Colgan Architects, and Ferguson Glasgow Schuster Soto, Inc. The project consists of a 3,556 sf. gallery/ classroom wing and a 5,842 sf. octagonal lecture hall. Student learning and enrichment is the primary goal driving the design.

The building showcases various architectural elements intended to both inspire and to provoke thoughtful discussion between students and faculty. In addition, state of the art technologies are incorporated into the lecture hall and classroom areas, intended to provide an optimum setting for student learning. The project was completed in 2005.
