The Village of Indian Creek Government Center houses a state of the art Police Facility, a Meeting Hall for The Village Council, and the Building Department. The 4,500 sf waterfront facility is built on pilings, designed to withstand the forces of a Category 5 Hurricane and has backup generator power for the whole facility. Also part of the project is an arched entrance feature that provides a formal entrance and security to the bridge entrance. The remodeling of the 1920’s structures that flank the bridge was also included in the project. Cost of construction was estimated at $600,000. Construction was completed in 1999.
