The existing Jackson Memorial Hospital Institute Annex Building has undergone an interior Refurbishment that was completed in 2005 at a cost of $3,000,000. In addition to improvements to the various patient rooms, offices, corridors, etc., the fourth floor was redesigned to house University of Miami’s Center For Patient Safety (CFPS). The CFPS is a specialized training center utilizing state of the art medical simulation equipment.
