Miami International Airport
Park 6 Garage
Miami, FL

The main scope of this project consists of a seven-story parking garage that will provide approximately 1,550 parking spaces. Ancillary projects include a Gap structure with a moving walkway, a Pedestrian crossover bridge, and two double deck Vehicular crossover bridges connecting Park 6 with adjacent, existing parking structures. The overall aesthetic design of Park 6 follows that of adjacent garages. However, special attention will be given to the east facade that lies on the main approach to Miami International Airport. Other design criteria include economies of time and cost, adherence to ADA requirements, environmental impact, traffic flow, and user safety. The total construction budget for the Park 6 garage and its ancillary structures is estimated at $46 million.
